We would like to inform you of our mobile notary service pricing structure. Our base fee for simple mobile notary services is $25 and includes 1 stamp, covering travel within a 25-minute drive radius from our location.   The fee is variable depending on the type of service, distance and any extras.  

For locations beyond the 45-minute drive radius, an additional fee will apply to account for extended travel time. The exact amount of the additional fee will depend on the distance traveled and will be communicated to you prior to scheduling the appointment.

The following are types of services that can be performed by Knot Notary:

Acknowledgments 

Authenticating the signing of legal documents, affirming that the signer voluntarily signed it.

Jurats (Oaths and Affirmations)

Administering oaths and affirmations, which are sworn statements made under penalty of perjury.

Signature Witnessing

Witnessing the signing of documents and verify the identity of the signers.

Copy Certification

Certifying that a document is a true and accurate copy of an original document.

Vehicle Title Transfers 

Assisting with the transfer of vehicle titles by verifying signatures and identities.

Loan Document Signings |$100-$250

Witnessing and authenticating signatures on loan documents, including mortgages and refinancing papers.

Living Trusts and Estate Planning 

Witnessing the signing of living trusts and other estate planning documents.

Powers of Attorney

Witnessing the signing of powers of attorney documents, granting authority to another individual.

Advance Directives (Living Wills)

Witnessing the signing of advance directives, which outline healthcare preferences in case of incapacitation.

Apostille Services |-Starting at $225

An apostille service is a specialized service that involves authenticating or certifying documents for use in countries that are members of the Hague Apostille Convention.

 Last minute Elopements| Starting at $150(15-30 minutes)

Basic- We will meet somewhere in the Summerville/Charleston area (Usually at Ashley River Park https://g.co/kgs/J1j2UnK  or Azalea Park https://g.co/kgs/mFdmF2X , to perform a last minute elopement ceremony, and you will bring the 3 copies of your Marriage license which will be mail into the county office.  A simple standard ceremony will be performed after your prior approval.  Extras can be discussed and added for a cost (Bouquet, Boutonniere and more...)

1. Within 2 weeks (15 people maximum + 15 photos ) $150- $200 held at a park or other venue in the Summerville area, usually Ashley River Park https://g.co/kgs/J1j2UnK  or Azalea Park https://g.co/kgs/mFdmF2X .  $50 non-refundable deposit required to book.

 2. Elopements that are being plan beyond 2 weeks in advance(Charleston area and beyond- up to 15 people + 15 Photos- $175-250).  $50 non-refundable deposit required to book.

Custom Ceremony  | starting at $400 includes the following:

custom vows, your story, testimonies, rituals  (washing of feet, hand fasting, sand mixing, jumping the broom), religious Ceremonies.  A preferred venue is Ashley River Park, so please take a look https://g.co/kgs/J1j2UnK .  Spaces can be rented for several hours or for a day.

Fresh Wedding Bouquet from a local florist- Starting at $50.

Factors Affecting Pricing:

• Travel Distance: Our base pricing covers weddings within the greater Charleston area. However, there may be a surcharge for ceremonies outside of this area, depending on the distance we need to travel.

• Evening, Holidays, and Valentine's Day: Please note that there is a surcharge for weddings scheduled in the evenings, on holidays, and on Valentine's Day. These surcharges reflect the increased demand during these times and the extra care and attention we dedicate to making your day extraordinary.

A contract will be set in place after coming to an agreement.  This contract must be signed by both parties.  There is a non-refundable deposit of $50 which is due as soon as the contract is agreed upon and signed.
